Question of the Day: Why does Cassius "need" Brutus to join the conspiracy?

Cassius needs Brutus to join his cause because it would make his conspiracy look like something good or honorable to the common people because they would see that Brutus, a noble man, supported it... so it must be good.
Cassius wants Brutus to join the conspiracy because Cassius knows/thinks Brutus is well respected by the Romans, and if Brutus joins their cause it will in essence give their cause validity.
